Let someone else fix it, I just want to enjoy life and have fun...

Many of us recognize the world is not right. Many people go through life with this unconscious or subconscious sense of something being off with society and the way things are.

Unfortunately, many of us are often too busy with our lives to try to figure out what the root causal source of this feeling is. We are often all too busy with seeking and then feeling pleasure and enjoyment of many things in our lives, at the expense of caring enough to uncover and figure out what is wrong, and then do something about it.

Even when many of us see the wrongs or problems, we are reluctant to tackle fixing them properly as they seem larger than us or overwhelming. This is because we are not in an empowered position of understanding the root causal source to then effectuate lasting change. We are ignorant.

Many of us often justify and excuse our ignorance, like saying for example:

“Yes, the world isn’t right, but I’m busy living my life. There's nothing I can do about it, I'm just one person. It's too complicated and I won't even be able to do anything about it anyways. I will just enjoy myself.”

What a wonderful worldview... Don’t learn and don’t figure out a solution. Just let shit fall apart... Let your children, or their children, take care of the mess we allowed to perpetuate...

That shows how much we really care about life and our children. We don’t seem to be thinking very far ahead. We don't seem to even care that they will inherit the mess we didn’t want to clean up and perpetuated. Just as we inherited it from those who also didn’t clean it up. It gets passed down, and everyone expects someone else to do the hard work to fix things, but not them, no, its not their problem. This is the real larger "universal" karma of past generations sowing what future lives with reap.

“Enjoy your food, enjoy your alcohol, enjoy everything, and seek those enjoyments in your free time. You only have one life to live, enjoy it, have fun."

Sounds great right? I don’t have to worry about anything but my own life and those around me. We can focus on our own personal well-being, our comfort in our specific zone or area, seeking pleasure, letting the time float by until the next moment of pleasure, gratification, enjoyment, amusement or other distraction...

“Government, daddy, mommy, nanny will take of things for me while I abdicate personal responsibility. Then I get to ‘enjoy’ and ‘live’ life, so it all works out for me, and what is ‘right’ for me, my loved ones, or those I am close to and identify with. If we are headed off a cliff, oh well, I will just go have fun with my life and let my children and grandchildren run off the cliff too, because I don’t really care. I pretend to care, but my focus is only on the 'now' and maintaining my survival, my freedom, my 'truth', and my enjoyment.”

People are focused, obsessed, attached and infatuated with their pleasures, gratifications, amusements and overall enjoyment to bother with focusing on the need to change themselves in order to change the world. Some people even delude themselves with fanciful “feel-good” deceptions such as “I’m already perfect”. They “don’t need to learn” because they are very satisfied with their personal position in life and are content that way. The learning journey has ended for them (or never even begun, i.e. unbegun, uninitiated, unconscious). They have pitched their tent and want to stay right where they are.

We're so focused on ourselves, the people close to us in our lives, and having experience, enjoyment and fun with them. We seek pleasure and avoid pain. Seek the positive and avoid the negative. In doing so, we neglect other aspects of life, like facing the problems in society and the need for truth to do that. And with the need for learning and thinking to be developed.

Abdicating our personal responsibility is a sure-fire way to never develop true freedom and anarchy as a way of life. If we want real freedom in life, we have to accept the personal responsibility to be eternally vigilant. Rejection of our self-ownership and self-governance has not and will not create anarchic order, but instead perpetuate archonic chaos.

Fixing things comes down to having the personal responsibility and self-governance to deal with life and the negative problems that need to be dealt with. This work on the negative is avoided, as we seek pleasure and the positive experience, and avoid the pain, suffering or negative experience. Facing the problems, facing the mirror, forces us into a negative modality of feeling and being, compared to a positive modality. We avoid doing this work because of our attachment to how we feel. The "feel-good" pleasure trap.

Join the fun and the party... or deal with the shit in life... easy to understand where people make most of their choices.

The real way to avoid pain, suffering and the negative, is to be aware of it, and stop creating it. So long as we choose to remain ignorant by willfully ignoring the negative, it will persist. Don't seek to create negative, but don't avoid it either.

Very well said @krnel We are here to experience duality in all areas of our life. To resist an aspect of it is to continually attract it to yourself. I have found that acceptance is key to self-reflection and in do so I am able to transcend an area that no longer works for me. Nice post!

Thanks. Right, but also wrong.

"We are here to experience duality in all areas of our life."

... is pseudo-"spiritual" New Age bunk.

You are not here to experience all of everything. That's your belief that you choose to accept, to give meaning to what happens in life. Possibly, as some cosmic "order" to make "sense" of it all.

We don't need to experience everything. We can. But that's not why "we are here". There is no requirement to experience being raped, being murdered, being stolen from, being lied to. All of that CAN happen, but it's not why "we are here" to experience everything. I've heard this way too much from New Ager type of "thinkers", and I know why it's accepted as a "valid" thought about reality. I used to believe in much of the New Ager nonsense myself, and have broken away from the falsity by analyzing the "claims of reality" compared to actual reality.

As well of the New Age theory, that what you focus on, you will manifest So be sure not to focus on the negative, or anything of a dark nature.

Another well written article..... Thank you Kris
