Here is what to do. Talk to re-estate agent. Good re-estate agents have sold houses that at first has a violations and not a clear title. So they direct you to a re-estate lawyer that does these things. In turn the lawyer will direct you to a plumber that understand what all these violations and how to solve. Finally, he will get an architect to work with, that can do the proper things to close out the violation. So the plumber is getting everything ready and he will give me the price. Then he'll start work to correct my boiler room and file the right corrections. He said it will close out the case, doing this and that. He seems to know what he is doing as he works with the lawyers. So this re-estate agent, lawyer, plumber and architect is a good team. He asked if the other plumber who did the original work was an amateur. I think that other plumber is.
This is a $1500 lesson, I've learn. I still have to pay for the dob violation. Hopefully, the lawyer can talk them down.
