PMDD: Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder
AKA: Pretty much dying, dude.
This week in PMDD hell I threatened to shatter a bowl filled with pancake batter because I felt my boyfriend wasn't listening to me. I almost called off twice from work. I got the ball rolling on transferring to a different department at my job.
Does PMDD come with perks? Sure, if you count what feels like a manic episode as a "perk." There are some moments of elation, drive, creativity, but the crash is so much worse. It's hard living your life in the predictability of the disorder but the severity is completely random. Two weeks out of every month are normal while two are a random as Russian roulette. You never know what each month will bring, and winter months are a lot harder living in the Windy City. Just TODAY the sun seems to shining in the spring way that let's you know it's almost over.
This month I would say was a bad one, yet I am eating healthier than ever while maintaining a work out routine.
Hopefully March brings some flowers or whatever. It'll probably be more rain, or better yet. Snow. That last fuck you from winter where he brings it back with his icy strap on for one more hurrah before making was for sticky, hot, humid, drunk daze.
