As to the question of the EOY STEEM price I believe it will be around $0.50, I think the Bitcoin boom will see a lot of selling pressure to get on the BTC moonride. The following year price will be very hard to pick with the introduction of SMTs but if I have to pick a number $40. Approx 10 times the ATH.

I believe STEEM will be between $2.00 - $3.00 I know that's not as exciting as $1000, but probably more realistic. The introduction of Smart Media Tokens will certainly expand and increase the value of STEEM. @ironshield

STEEM may reach $1000 by the end of next year. There are many committed and passionate users and investors (similar to dogecoin) but STEEM has way more utility than something like doge which is simply a litecoin clone.
Also, with a predicted correction in Bitcoin incoming, there will possibly be a lot of money flowing back into altcoins such as STEEM in the coming months. Crypto Long, Crypto Strong

Steem is a great platform, but will need to address several user interface and usability issues before enjoying a $1000 per steem price point. Simply put, to the average user, it is confusing and managing several keys / passwords that cannot be recovered are foreign concepts. Additionally, formatting posts and adding images is not yet an intuitive process. Given this, I feel the price of steem will rise but much more conservatively. I can see steem in it's current form rising to $20 USD but think it is more likely going to remain valued under $10 USD until the issues listed above have been addressed.

6000 Satoshi looks like the low ytd and if it holds 18000 satoshi through the end of the year I'm going to hope that next year steemit find a 50,000 satoshi bottom.
I know this doesn't directly answer your question beacause steemit could be mooning at the end of the year next year and "worth" .5 BTC.
I guess I'll just be conservative and guess steemit will be around 50,000 BTC or ~3x the value it ends this year.
