So his bet is an Over / Under bet. Meaning in a specified game the total combined score by both teams will be O or U the designated line. In this case it is 9.5. Most of these bets have half digits so there can be no tie. The -120 represents the odds this particular line carries.
Example: If the odds offered on a particular event result are -120, it means that in order to 'win' $100 you would need to bet $120.
So a $200 bet would pay out roughly $365.
