I thought so. It looks the same when I do it. Only its just a big can that had coffee in it. I keep throwing the surplus coins in, when they get to heavy in the pants pocket.
When the can is full - like every 2 years or so - I take it to the bank and have the coins counted. Its astonishing how much clocks up then, sometimes 300 or 400 Euro. And the poor guy in the bank has to haul the heavy coin sacks around. Its incredible how heavy this stuff is. That can I have weighs about 50 lbs when its full.

No in my opinion the pocket change theory has no evidence and will not happen. It doesn’t help the rich to declare clad coinage has more value so no I think it’s 100% not happening. I hope I’m wrong though . But don’t think I am
