Be the Show Podcast – Uncovering the Personalities behind the Posts (Episode 2 @firepower)

I first connected with @firepower a few months back on Rocketchat one evening. Ironically it was the unusual aspects and strange adventures of our different live which caused a friendship to form. After an endless dance of trying to coordinate schedules with a 12.5 hour time difference, we found a moment of Zen and I had the privilege of interviewing him about two weeks ago.

When I think of the potential impact and the opportunity Steemit represents, I can think of no better individual on the Steemit website who demonstrates this better than @firepower. In this episode of Be the Show, @firepower shares a more in depth discussion into some defining moments of his life inside and outside of Steemit:

…and much more. Special thanks to @firepower for this excellent interview.

This is very Inspiring.

@shiv123 his story is very inspiring. The funny thing is we have many people in the community like that and one by one I'm looking to interview them. This week I should have my next edition of this series up.

Thank you so much for the opportunity @lpfaust! It was great talking to you!

@firepower I had a great time and we should see about catching up again online sometime soon. Take care of yourself and as I have communicated to you before, I'm hoping for a complete recovery for you - particularly for your hand.

Be well, my friend.

@lpfaust,
That would be a great inspirational post! I am going to listen the interview now! Thank you very much for sharing this great information with us!

Cheers~

@theguruasia thanks for listening to the podcast. I appreciate it.

I would ask that you please take some time after the podcast to visit the blog of @firepower and check out some of his awesome content and learn about how he is bringing recognition to Steemit in India. I'm privileged to call him my friend here on Steemit.

@firepower is one of the best here on Steemit and I am privileged to call him my friend. Ironically he and I have never met in person and we became friends here though Steemit. If you've not already checked out his blog, I would suggest you absolutely should. The Steemit accelerator he started is yeilding some amazing results and his other blog entries are very well written.

Personally, I sincerely love his Fire Travels series because it's very atypical.

Great endorsement coming from a man who just wrote an entire Satire piece on travel blogs. Check his stuff out and give him a follow. I think you'll appreciate having your feed filled with his content

Thanks for sharing the podcast I will listen to it. I follow @firepower and read his posts he is a great inspiration to me.

I am happy to hear you will be attending his Steemit accelerator. You will be in very capable hands with @firepower. Please be sure to let hi m know you listened to this Podcast - after all he did reveal it was his first ever.

I think at some point I need to shoot out to Mangalore (with an "M") and attend one of his accelerators.

Hey @lpfaust, I learned lot from Steemit India accelerator program.
I told him that I listened to his podcast, he was very glad about it.
I'll be sharing my notes from the program this evening.

@vishalmukadam that's great news. I'm glad you had the opportunity to connect with @firepower. I will be on the lookout for your follow up post about the Steemit accelerator.

It was really good to hear @firepower on his first ever podcast and also listen to the ways he came about to the position that he is in today. hope he finds more success on this journey.

Great interview

@starving thanks for taking some time from your day to listen and comment. I appreciate it.

@firepower is a tremendous asset to the Steemit community and I would encourage you to check out his blog and give him a follow. He produces some fantastic content and his work with his Steemit accelerator in India is amazing.

Now I will listen to the interview and read about India.

There is a Canadian coconut, she writes against vaccinations. I do not agree with this, but it would be interesting to read the interview.

@dlina-v-metrah thanks for listening and commenting. I appreciate the support.

Since I have been reading @firepower's series Fire Travels, I have become interested in checking out more of India. I think the Surf Open in Mangalore really caught my attention the most because I would have never associated surfing with India.

I guess that alone sums up why I wanted to do this particular podcast series more effectively than anything else I could have said.

Regarding the anti-vaxx community, not sure I want to go down that path with this series. However, I do appreciate the suggestion.

Amazing podcast! That's very motivating :)

@rtdcs thanks for taking some time to listen and comment.

@firepower is an excellent resource for the community. I love that he spent $300 USD to make all his success happen. I would encourage you to check out his blog and give him a follow. He's good people to know here on Steemit.

@lpfaust thank you for this. The way he is contributing to Steemit by building up immense following of the platform in India he totally deserved it. @firepower I'm assembling some woodwork up north, visit soon to ignite it. ;)

Thank you so much @lpfaust for encouraging my son @firepower by this great post...

**Becoming a parent is really a blessing... But I am extremely thankful to God for having blessed me with a Son who is a lil bit Super-powered.... **

I am extremely happy to read your post. The interview is really great!!!

Please have a look at my Introductory post, (I joined steemit recently), and am sure you will like my art work there.

Your support is much appreciated, Thank you once again @lpfaust....

@geetharao thanks for stopping by and listening to the interview with your son @firepower. I think he's an exceptional young man and a tremendous asset to the Steemit community. While interviewing him, I was struck by how gregarious he is and his natural charisma. In many ways he has the qualities of a star beginning to rise.

As a parent of two younger children, the thoughts you express about becoming a parent truly hit home with me. My daughter is almost six and her personality is very similar to your son's . She wakes up each morning looking to squeeze the most out of life that day. My son is still an infant, but he appears to have the same zest as well.

When I was talking to @firepower on the chhat application just recently I asked him if I ever communicated to him what the goal of this project "Be the Show" was. When he told me I didn't communicate that to him, this was my response:

The focus is about people learning about the person and connecting with their personality. It's like authors at a book signing. The fans come to connect with the author on a more personal level - learn about their personality.

It's why I purposely stay away from explicit Steemit-related topics and cryptocurrency topics.

I hope you feel I succeeded on that front with your son.

Yes, your thoughts are really great and you are doing a great job...

@geetharao thanks for the encouragement. It can sometimes be tough to balance my day job, my job as a father and my Steemit content creation. As I told @firepower the other day, while he's everyone's favorite flavor, I'm more of an acquired taste.

one of the best podcast in recent times that was really good work @ipfaust looking forward to see more in future.

@cityslicker thanks for taking some time to stop by to listen and comment. I appreciate the kind words and support.

One of the best parts about doing these podcasts where I have the opportunity to feature content creators of the Steemit community is I always learn something new and find something else to put on my bucket list. @firepower has an infectious enthusiasm about him which made me curious to explore things I'd either overlooked or not considered in the past. We both have very nomadic spirits about us, which is why I think we connected so quickly.

The chat after the recording was just as awesome.

Nice post with sound clip...
I listen the interview via soundcloup app...
@lpfaust wel done and I appreciate your work...thank you so much sharing your valyble knowledge and ideas with other steemians...great great...
