Father and Son

in poem •  7 years ago

Son when you grow up what shall you be?
Would I be a father that you could never be?
Mark a star and walk on my shoe,
It’s easy as you go, I shall go beyond too

Should I be a father that holds your hand in pain?
Or should I be the one that scolds and holds when wet in rain
Son to be a father is not a planned way,
Yet, be the one that I can never be in any way
