Solitary

in poem •  7 years ago  (edited)

Am in shemozzle
I tried getting myself amused
My heart is in rumpus with my brain
So I hid my tears in the rain

Like the Motto of Liverpool
I waited for hours at the pool
I should never walk alone?
But what could I have done?

Friends deserted me
They put me in solitude
Is it my attitude?
But why also my love?

She shattered my heart into pieces
Who will give me peace
Maybe this life is a path best walked alone
I guess am in solitary
