THE DECEMBER VISITOR TO WEST AFRICA

Ding dong, ding dong
The bell rang on this cold morning
And as I opened up
There he stood with his pale face,
His dusty self and the dryness he brought was just undeniable

Oh my God you're here again
I knew you were coming
But I wasn't expecting you this soon
Or maybe I was just thinking
That the last set of people you were with had captured you
Can you even be consistent in showing up
Have some respect and let me know when you wanna come

And oh just so you know
I'm sick of the burden you bring with you
Can I ever get used to you?
*And can you be less destructive this year?

"Ahaaaa is that how you welcome an old friend?
Show some love
I'm not your enemy
Oh my dearest pal you're welcome
From where have you come and till when are you leaving me to your next victims
And I must confess I missed you a little bit

The events of life is a cicle
And I can never keep you out
So you are welcome
Hey everybody guess who's here???

Mr Hammattan they all chorused
