Good day everyone. For the few of you out there whom like to read and writw poetry but feel as though they don't know how I want to briefly very briefly help you.
Poetry is what you make it.. meaning it can be sets of words, sentences, every two sentences, and/or every paragraph that rhythm together, but it doesnt have to rhythm either it could be a summary of nothing for example
Today I'm attempting to teach you how to write,
Yet not even sure if it will be what is considered right,
Though it took sometime to build up the might ,
Just showing people how to find their own light
Thats one way to do it heres another style
Lay down on the bed bought and owned by you
Obviously feelings of sad come on over you
Velvet sheets feel so comfortable beneath you
Eventually a sleep is where I'll be with you..
Now this poem doesnt rhythm but its unique because it spells Love if you take the first letter of every sentence and ends with you at the end to. Poetry is an expression of youor something you want to get out.. it can be happiness, darkness, pain, hate or love it really is and can be anything. Poetry in a nutshell is just that you and your expression. Good luck and always try no matter.
