Phoenix Rising- A Poem By Ashtyn Nyx

Phoenix Rising
Called forth from fire,
Death could not claim me.
Burned by your scorn,
Death could not claim me.
Purified in the flames,
born again
A mighty Phoenix rising.

Saw the ashes,
hidden in the rubble,
the walls of Jericho slowly tumbled.
With a mighty cry,
I spread my wings,
Flew past Babylon to the Holy Place.

Called forth from the fire,
Death could not claim you.
Burned by your scorn
Death could not claim me.
Purified in the flames,
Born again.
A mighty Phoenix Rising.

Dust to Dust.
Ashes to Ashes.
