With flowers in hand,
He is standing at the gate of the building.
It’s been a month he has been seeing her Going out and coming back to the building.
It’s hard to recall when exactly he started craving for her.
But now it’s impossible to not think of her.
Living is a delirium now,
Without hunger, sleep and peace.
Yesterday, at night while thinking of her,
He decided that he cannot live in this dream of fantasy anymore
Or else he will go mad.
That’s why he went to market in the morning
Bought a fresh bouquet of red roses with few saved notes,
Roses just separated from the plant.
And now he stands,
waiting for her to come down.
But as the time approaches
He is unsure whether he is doing the right thing.
He suddenly feels his ruffled hair and tattered clothes,
He touches his unruly beard and sunken cheeks,
He looks at his plastic covered hut as the side of the road,
And at that very instance, he sees her gliding out of the building
She is as radiant as a morning sun.
He is almost breathless with desire.
But now it’s nearly impossible for him to decide whether or not to go near her.
