Dark, Darker, & Darkest

Shadows amidst the light
Growing darker as they shine bright
Emitting light all around
Silhouette is everywhere to be found

Darkness covering our soul
Altering mind, becoming a fool
A moon against the sun
A life of a puzzled man

Wicked lurking inside
Devouring souls in the hide
Greedy apparitions above us
Chilling ghost of quas

The greater the opportunity
The higher it would be risky
Greater power in thee
Comes with a greater responsiblity
