A small poem written on an island in Sweden...

The following poem was imbued with this picture taken at Grinda, an island close to Stockholm, Sweden.

Reminiscence

I will remember endless days with a sun under the horizon;
I will remember enthusiastic friendships of darkness;
I will remember an ironically charming Södermalm;
I will remember the white gold’s flakes in a nordic heat;
I will remember the calm loneliness facing a Selene reviving the sea;
I will remember the union of a city and plants;
I will remember the jackdaws’ ballet among the spruces and the birches;
I will remember a particular tolerance and detachment from the other ones;
I will remember these darting ultramarine blue eyes within their setting of flavescent hair;
I will remember an atemporal Lappis;
I will remember a not-learnt language with unexplored sounds;
I will remember these slender and incarnadine commissures;
I will remember the stylish and pink twilights;
I will remember endless days with a sun over the horizon;

Lulled by the saline air, attracted by the unaltered smells, woke up by the sunbeams between two nimbostratus, dazed by the weeping herring gull, Stockholm will call me back to its bosom.
