gurez-pā hai nayā rāsta kidhar jaa.eñ
chalo ki lauT ke ham apne apne ghar jaa.eñ

ek muddat se tirī yaad bhī aa.ī na hameñ
aur ham bhuul ga.e hoñ tujhe aisā bhī nahīñ

is ālam-e-vīrāñ meñ kyā anjuman-ārā.ī
do roz kī mahfil hai ik umr kī tanhā.ī
