vo zahr detā to sab kī nigah meñ aa jaatā
so ye kiyā ki mujhe vaqt pe davā.eñ na diiñ

zarā ruuTh jaane pe itnī ḳhushāmad
'qamar' tum bigāḌoge aadat kis

unheñ bhī jiine ke kuchh tajrabe hue hoñge
jo kah rahe haiñ ki mar jaanā chāhte haiñ ham
