A WIFE
A wife is more like fire
You pick from a friend
But the consequences are dire
As a couple you must blend
You cannot borrow or hire
On you she fully depends
Responsible wife not a liar
One you can’t offend
Many toddlers you can sire
And still to chores attend
At the crow of first cocks
She is up on her knees
Wooden door she locks
And off to sow garden peas
Cares less about mocks
She is always busy as the bees
