A poem by Bertolt Brecht

I quote one of Brecht's poems. "Every day, to earn my daily bread. I go to the market where lies are bought. Hopefully I take up my place among the sellers."

I'm not sure I could understand the meaning correctly of the poem but it may be a good irony on #marketfryiday ;)

I should have explained in detail. Brecht was a German theatre practitioner, playwright, and poet. He fled to the United States from the Nazis during the World War II. This poem is about Hollywood.

Now I see. So market means Hollywood, where he was. Thank you for explaining the background olga san :)

You're welcome!
