The city sleeps, a concrete maze,
But listen close, a symphony plays.

Distant sirens wail a mournful song,
Car horns honk, a rhythmic throng.

Footsteps tap a steady beat,
On pavement cool, on bustling street.

A lone guitar strums from a fire escape,
A melody that lingers, a sweet escape.

Laughter spills from a window high,
A joyful note that dances by.

Whispers rustle through the trees,
A lullaby on the evening breeze.

The city hums, a vibrant score,
A symphony of life, forevermore.
