Dawn and Dusk

in poem •  7 years ago  (edited)

As dawn lead to dusk,
there was spring again;
and I saw the flowers bloom,
believing rain was not in vain;

I danced with the wind
rose with the sparrow;
humming my own little song,
was unaware of the fall to come tomorrow;

If fall has to come; better unaware
with music by by ear;
And even when all is done, and nothing remains
let me just breathe the air!
