Friendship To Its Limit
What it is and what it will never be
A charm and a curse, a bond in life.
A beautiful dream and a friendship that's true
Regardless of time, distance or interest.
A story of trial and tribulation, a bond that's mine.
I'll cherish it for the rest of my life.
In my heart, I know this is how it will, always be.
What we go through makes our friendship worth long nights of misery.
Short daydreams make it worth waking up to on the right side of bed.
The love, the hate, the ups and downs make our friendship worth changing the world.
This is all we have ever wanted, this is all we will ever need.
To know, to fear and to believe.
I am your friend!
A poem on friendship can sound like a cliche or a completely dumb idea. But the idea of a poem about friendship actually went through my mind pretty often so I decided to try it out. This poem goes back to my childhood; when I was just starting school and living with my parents in India: I had no friends yet but I always thought that one day I would have one. Friendships come with so many memories they all blend in one-time frame into a beautiful melody that makes life worth living day by day.
