Internal Beauty

in poem •  8 years ago  (edited)

What is beauty? Where can I find it? Beauty, is all around.

You breathe it in, you hear its sound. You walk upon its concrete ground.

In sleep you enter its domain, A small insight that you will gain, Of how beauty sprouts from sudden places, Not defined by human faces.

And this is what they fail to see, They assume it is judged by society. Our looks don't translate who we are, The "ugly" people have the truest hearts.

But the problem is growing, vast in size, I soon hope they do realise. Before it all becomes too late, The world controlled, by an ugly fate.
