Enterprise and Prioritize- Poetry from the Helm- The U.S.S. MinnowPROSE!

Being so deep in muddy waters?
how's it feel when sink or swim took you for a ride?
Should've prodded deeper with your broken sword.
Rust and die, painted warriors.

Your suit and tie will protect you none.
When souls blacken, crimson tide run.
Naught but evil in your shuttered doors.
Keep them locked tight.

Delegate that responsibility.
Was not I, claimed the one armed man.
We all know who did the job.
Not so able, sang the cane.

Bend over and take another off the belt.
Climb the neverending ladder to the stars.
By the time you finish, all will be black.
Just like the bottom line.

Every wondered what life comes after a living death?
Who gives a damn, shuddering breath.
Take my first, my last, my only.
Dollar dollar bill yo.

"Your suit and tie will protect you none."

I think this will only be realized when we realize that the biggest criminals are the smartly dressed one. And that the most dangerous fascists are not the ones wearing jackboots and shouting slogans.

Again, I hope I am not misinterpreting your work, but this one in particular hit a nerve. This is for no other reason than I have seen what suit and tie men have done.
