Placebo Effect- Original Poetry

Placebo! it's the number one!
Half the time it gets things done.
Just believe and you will see.
That placebos leave you in serendipity.

Even doctors leave things to chance.
Giving those sugary pills that trance.
To trick your mind and body to heal.
Only $59 a box, what a steal.

I know the stance, I'll get the doc back.
Grind up a ton and down the entire pack!!
Now to believe in the thing I need.
A life of style and jacket tweed!

A fun (but very truthful) poem. I enjoyed the whimsical rhythm of the piece and the choices you made in the rhyme. I especially enjoyed this line: "I know the stance, I'll get the doc back. / Grind up a ton and down the entire pack!!" (great meter to that line).
