LIFE IS BUT A DREAM

Life is but a dream;
A frozen sweet treat;
A peanut butter cup!

The bitter bites
And frightful sights
Hazily laying with toes dangling.

Yea, but the whiffle, whaffle
Woes of life penetrate . . .
Inundate . . .
Saturate . . .

Nightmarish stallions
Stampede into my dreams.
Screams teeming with head pain.

Again, the poppies begin to bloom.
The resplendent, fulminating essence
Of it all.

And then it fades
And turns to mush.

SHIT!!!

It is interesting how metaphors communicate so much clearer than prose. An explosion of fireworks meaning!
