Blood

in poem •  3 years ago

Blood… blood… blood my son.
It takes blood!
The life, the death, the power, the truth
All that you earn and all that you lose,
All that you think and all that you root,
blood… blood… blood my son,
It takes blood!
blood we see, bloody we are,
blooded this place, blooding life,
A flood that darkens the dark,
The heretics, the politicians, the family,
the nation, the religion, the world.
all of them, all equally, need blood.
Each drop of it! All of it!
Blood…. blood…. blood my son!
It takes blood!

My son! before you step into the gore
before you come,
listen to my words!
This life is not worth living!
This place is not what it was.
Listen!
They will approach you.
They will come!!
both in bloody and bloodless forms.
They will give you solutions, simple solutions!
but remember my son!
behind the veneer,
behind those pledging eyes,
there will be a deeper whisper,
chanting for blood,
“blood blood,blood will it take”
blood blood! blood my son!
It takes blood!

All the happenings around, my son
This daze of taking sides.
This maze- The wet black and white walls
painted in blood,
This twirling and roaming- this struggle,
to find a refuge, from those walls
to settle on a bloodless land,
is the summary of my life.
I am in a search of a bloodless denouement, my son.
When all the rigid be fluided,
All the righteous be wronged,
All the vigorous be fainted,
And all the daring be drawn,
to a place where blood’ll worth a soul,
where you’ll be able to read,
to contemplate this text,
where you will be actively choosing
a pack from the packs
a crew from one pack, actually,
The crew;
that contains me,
that contains you
that contains us.
That contains blood!
If I failed my son,
If the world be the same as it’s now,
then, remember my son!
Never take side, trust none,
Not even the blood, because;
blood takes blood!
blood blood, blood my son,
It takes blood.
