Oh, glowing orb up in the sky,
You light the darkness with your shine,
A constant presence, never shy,
Watching over us all the time.

You wax and wane, a cosmic dance,
Guiding tides and rhythms of life,
A celestial beacon, by chance,
Reflecting the sun's vibrant light.

From poets' pens to lovers' vows,
You've inspired art and romance,
Mystery shrouds you like a shroud,
A symbol of chance and chance.

Oh, moon, how you enchant us so,
With your tranquil, ethereal glow,
In your company we feel whole,
As you rise and set, a cosmic show.
