When I say I'm empty, I am not.
I'm bothered. I'm ragged.
I am soaked with so many thoughts.
I can't quite understand why I'm drenched in my own anxiety.

I stare at a cream-tainted wall,
so aware of how boxed I am.
How limited my choices are.
How scarce my opportunities.
I continue being on asylum,
it's only me who attest
to my talents and despair.

The emptiness makes my head hurt.
Like my skulls hitting the moon,
This stress and the sharpened gloom,
makes me worry, causing dread.
It makes me dislike the thought
of consuming water or mere bread.
But in despite of all of this,
I still have a fetish for being empty.
It fills me in. Though at first it tears my soul,it places an artist in me.
Conscious of life. Those things,
we usually do not notice when we are happy.

Call me a fool whose mouth drools,
like the feeling of being empty.
It's a feeling that gives me that plight.
Of all these things that are vacant in me
are the same things that fill my paper.
These things that keeping my left hand inked.

The positive aspect of being empty is that you can never be sated. Understanding that you have nothing inside means you have more room to take a lot of things from the outside. Emptiness can drive one to search, strive, or create for something that could fill. The only thing emptiness is full of is by itself. You either accept emptiness as an ally that could build you or break you.

Wow! That is so on point @adamada. I didn't know you could be this "deep" behind your funny and hilarious antics. Impressive!

Now, you caught my attention. Why don't we go ahead and discuss your business plan? Lol! Just kidding.

Keep being Steemitly awesome!

I'm deep because I'm empty or I am empty because I'm deep.

Thank you for the compliment. I could learn from your writing. I know little about poetry until another person made the initiative that I should start learning the art.

I see you have the knack with words. You really should try poetry Sir!

Splendid work you've done on this. I somehow relate myself on some parts you've said.

Thank you @enitsirk! Thanks for dropping by!

I like how you made use of various objects in the room in your symbolism.

Using the concept of being empty or in pain makes a lot of us artists, invoking a muse that is often different when we feel happy.

Emptiness gives us the will to create, to fill the void.

Thank you @maverickinvictus for checking this post out. You just don't know how I value your feedback and comments. Thanks again!
