Narziss

The gentle rustling of leaves in wind,
Forgetting who and what we are,
Peaceful silence that surrounds us,
Because Natura loves her children.

Sound of the tear, from the cheek it falls,
With it, too, suddenly hope shattered.
Nothing to be saved by me
Lasting only the nothing on earth.

The soft water reflects the light,
Illuminates our beautiful face,
I am lying on the bank with you.
For tender love you fail me.

But what glitter is your sight,
Fiery you glow of Venusstar too,
But our love denied by destiny,
So I stay in solitary distance.

Longing gnaws me excruciating,
For far from you is no life,
Far the knowledge, because love forgets,
The union can never exist.

Narziss

Das sanfte Rascheln der Blätter im Wind,
Das Vergessen Wer und Was wir sind,
Die friedliche Ruhe die uns umgibt,
Weil Natura ihre Kinder doch liebt.

Klang der Träne, von der Wange sie fällt,
Mit ihr auch jäh die Hoffnung zerschellt.
Ein Nichts von mir bewahrt zu werden
Von Dauer nur das Nichts auf Erden.

Das weiche Wasser spiegelt das Licht,
Beleuchtet unser schönes Angesicht,
Voll Wehmut lieg ich am Ufer bei dir.
Denn zärtliche Liebe versagst du mir.

Welch Funkeln aber offenbart dein Blick,
Feurig auch du glühst vom Venussterne,
Doch unsre Liebe verwehrt das Geschick,
So verbleib ich in einsamster Ferne.

Qualvoll mich die Sehnsucht zerfrisst,
Denn fern von dir ist kein Leben,
Fern das Wissen, weil Liebe vergisst,
Die Einung kann es nie geben.
