A Few Thoughts

Requirements
If you move with eagerness in your heart
Then you are alive

If you move with the sparks of dreams in your mind
Then you are alive

Learn to breathe freely like the gusts of wind
To flow in waves like the river does

Embrace each moment with arms wide open
And let it be a new horizon for your eyes

For as long as those eyes remain bewildered
You are alive

Run
This moment flows like molten sapphire
Leaving behind trails of deep blue silence
There is neither earth below nor sky above
The pounding feet, irregular pace
Both tell me “only you are here”
Only my breath and heartbeat
Only my oneness and aloneness
And I think
What greater circumstance is there
Than existence

Why?
When the clouds of pain and sadness loom,
When the soul grows afraid,
When tears travel past the lashes,
I make the heart understand,
“This is what happens in the world.
Why must you cry?”

Pain is not exclusive
The world distributed it accordingly so that
Sadness and sunshine
Embed themselves evenly into life

Still, the eyes grow wet for no reason
The heart will not be swayed
And I ask it in despair,
“Why must you let go of such priceless moments?
Why must you cry?”

Humility
I searched for evil among my friends
And failed
I searched inside myself
And found what I had been searching for
