Why it always happen
in mid afternoons
just when the children
have siesta from plays
and newborns lulled to sleep
the call of the wind turns sunlight
to waves with constant creavices
so consistent....
I would think that the world
stop turning this time
and here they are
ants in funeral procession
of a leaf just died
arm in arm
they come in thousand
to perform the rites
and as I watch them marching
to a destiny unknown
nature conceals her breath
just to give way
to the funeral of a leaf.
