Aspen Winter
This haiku was inspired by the first light winter falling in the mountains of Colorado amongst one of my favorite Aspen tree groves. My smartphone was used to take this quick shot as I was walking joyfully through a trail.

Seriously, very pretty and the area does look like a person should be walking around with hot cocoa and mini marshmallows in.

Wow, this is so beautiful. I was just reading @walkerland's snowy post and she included a Frost poem. It reminded me of another of his, called a Dust of Snow:
Wierdly, I was in Tasmania once in the absolute middle of nowhere in a beautiful cold forest, and we went into this picnic area and the toilets there had nothing on the walls except for this one bit of graffiti - the nicest graffiti I had ever seen.
I love the whispering soft consonants you have in there that gets that sense of quiet across - 'assssspen', 'www hissssss pering', 'ffffffffff allling', 'sssssighs...'
