"Even as you are"

No matter how old, how worn out or cracked or scarred we
Might be, we all still have a function, we all have value
And worth. Even an old, cracked wooden bowl can
Still hold fruit. Older things were often put
Together in ways that aren’t used
Anymore, but are far more
Durable than newer
Ones. You have
Value, even
As you
Are.

This can make me cry. That's true. We all have value. Old and worn, cracks and all. Well penned. 👌

I am ashamed to say that in my anger, I sometimes don't treat my older
Siblings (one in particular) with the respect that I should, but there ia a
Lot of back story there.
Still, I wrong her by not being at least respectful.
I write to exorcise those ghosts and show what I aspire to be

I totally understand where you are coming from. I've got similar strife with my siblings. In this case I'm the eldest. I don't agree with many things they do and my opinion makes me unpopular. But such is life. Your writing is haunting and for a good cause. Keep it up!

Thank you my friend @dkkarolien, your responses and others like them,
Are what keep me going. I just wish and hope that now I seem to be
In a better and more hopeful locale and frame of mind, I
Can start writing again. I think I wrote two posts
In all of 2019. That is sad, when I once wrote
at least 2 per day.
Good Morning!
