The Hybrid

I'm hybrid.
I stand in the middle of rivers that never meet.
.
.
The one river is of young people with nothing but tales of woe.
Domestic violence, conjugal lacrimation, divorce.
.
.
The other is people with mistakes and bitter experiences.
From what they've seen and been through, they say "NO MORE! Team Single."
.
.
There are those living apologetically for their pasts.
Any marital mistreatment they receive, they take in their stride,
It goes into the pool of punishments they feel they deserve.
.
.
Then there are those whose parents showed them a dream as soon as they could see, putting shoes on them; these diligently followed the path to that dream, and plucked it.
.
.
No man has any right to say all women are terrible;
And no woman has a right to say all men are the same.
Because they are not.
.
.
When the tales of everyone around you are tales of woe, check yourself!

So many great point highlighted
I love this part the most

No man has any right to say all women are terrible;
And no woman has a right to say all men are the same.

Unfortunately, this few words quotted has been a big destroyer of relationship as some persons just hold on to this thought before giving love a chance.
