You lure me out On a cold December night With a ruse and a smirk A fresh blanket of snow in-the yard You coax me to stand Under the crab apple trees Our breath billowing In puffs of steam You light up the branches With hundreds of lights Under a candescent canopy You ask me to be yours For the rest of our lives
