EVERYTHING IS A BUBBLE

The familiar curve that rise and falls.
The bubble of hope and expectancy.

A new shift, A new form, A new paradigm,
Sweet tongues are telling tales of treasure.

A new life, A newborn, A new promise.
Slowly rising till it peaks and drops to dust.

A new love, A sweetheart, An heartrob.
The love candle burns away with melting wax.

Gentle whispers and fortune telling,
It sounds so good it could be a lie.

Through the window of oppourtunity,
A wishful breeze blowing bubbles.

Floating through space unbothered,
Aroused by an early promise.

This poem is a really well thought out expression of loss @abmakko. I really admire these lines:

A new life, A newborn, A new promise.
Slowly rising till it peaks and drops to dust.

A new love, A sweetheart, An heartrob.
The love candle burns away with melting wax.

and the ending as well. The extended metaphor of the bubble is handled well and comes through, lending a truly heart rending poingency to the whole poem. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for your always insightful commentary @raj808 . :-), the bubble is indeed very fragile

The words are really refreshing !
