THE WHISTLEBLOWER

whistleblower.jpg

The truth and Its sweet venom,
The message and the messenger.
What makes truth addictive,
What drives the truth-seeker?

Conspiracies and twisted lies,
Ruined lives and bloodstained dollar.
Dead prophets and exiled reporters,
Heroes sacrificed on truth's altar.

The truth and Its bitter serum,
The sheeps and the shepherd.
What makes the bubble comfortable,
Will the sacrifices be remembered?

Fake news and false freedoms,
The puppet and the puppeteers.
The people are thirsty for real knowledge,
The reasons we need whistleblowers.
