Slow motion
Colors blur out
The waterworks begin

Silence
Only silence

I watch your mouth move
But I hear no sound
I start to close my eyes

Pain
Only pain

You hold me
I feel you
But not for long

Numb
I become numb

‘Please stay’
I whispered
I watch your back as you leave

Emptiness
There is only emptiness
