The touching tendrils of our tortured roots
Stand guard upon a mound of discontent
Who are we to be apathetic troops
To take up arms to support government
Pontius Pilate and his men did the deed
Who are we to think this does not apply?
Has our civility destroyed the need
To question why the innocent still die?
The answer is simple: authority
We give it away without second thought
We instill it in the majority
So the evil ones will never get caught
To flip the paradigm we must say, “No!”
Stand up and fight! With all your might! Let's go!
