Parallel Line

There is a time he reminisced,
Sleepless sombre nights,
Plethora of colors.

A tale of a lady he dare put ardor,
Heart skips a beat,
Seeing her with another.

May he conclude his life,
As a parallel line;
Always so close, yet never
together.
