Life in Poetry - Demon Delight

There's an itch inside my head,
Of shadows deeply hidden,
Something I've thought to be dead,
I tell myself it's forbidden.

To let the demon out to play,
I'm scared of it's power,
I don't think it'll ever go away,
It can entirely devour.

But I know now what to be true,
My shadow needs attention,
It's still part of the crew,
Another level of ascension.

Watch your tread in my presence,
I have ability to destroy & devour,
By the simple use of my truth,
I'll eat your soul with little power.

My one face of order,
Won't help you run away,
My one face of chaos,
Will make you rot & decay.
