Life in Poetry - Simon Says Sway

Allow my body to move and sway
As the heart electrifies my dance
A few sips of whiskey make me play
All insecurities buried while I trance

Emptying my vessel to rhythm of sound
A sick sweet electrifying possession
Who I become becomes profound
Mind, heart, body & soul in full expression

So I sway & sway deep into the night
The magic movement of body bursting
Makes everyone crave a little bite
Dance floor was cold but now burning

Meet me at the dance floor
I’ll tease with the God of rhythm
Movement to make your heart roar
Possessive dance none could fathom
