moving toward a mirror clear
it hangs before her
all through the year.
shadows of her world appear
casting of a vision near.
a double of her own esteem
it can only exhibit what is beneath
the surface hidden
the soul to speak.
that mirror doubles of I -
myself
and after hours
it devours.
