Call of Nature (Original Poem)

in poetry •  7 years ago  (edited)

Nature calls in all that we see
It calls in the grass and the trees
In the sun and in the breeze
Cooling us just like the cooling waters
Of the rain running into the stream
That leads to the rivers and oceans
With the power of nature in motion
Like the birds of the air soar
And the flow of the herd running
Into the distance through the door
Of dust that billows up
Like the clouds above the earth
That dance with the sun
Which graciously shows its worth
And flowers bloom as one
As they pull toward the light
Shining down bold and bright
Even in the still of the night
When it illuminates the moon
Glistening on the butterfly's cocoon
That hangs in the balance
Like a silk-spun window valance
And as the stars twinkle in the sky
Time never before seen passes by
Leaving the past in the distance
And nature calling in this instance
Remember acknowledge and agree
Yes, nature calls in all that we see
