A Sprout's Birth

in poetry •  7 years ago

With loving joy Mother
held him tight,
Feeding and comforting
day and night.
He hears Father say:
'It is spring now, son.
Your time has come.'
Patient and encouraging
like wise older brothers,
Sun and Rain shout
'You can do it!'
And to the world he enters
Growing tall and strong.
