THE DARKNESS IN THE NIGHT

in poetry •  7 years ago

He was awakened by the cold in the air
And he pulled out the blankets firmly
The drink was strong
It was a good night

He felt sick and tried to sleep again
She relaxed and breathed a sigh
The room was dark and quiet
He could still taste rye

Image

He lay there surprised and lazy
But something is wrong
He felt the need to explore
The darkness that night

He sat and rubbed his eyes
He looked at his side
When she did not see her
Fear got inside

He knew something was wrong
Never late
Now his curiosity
It would be investigated

He leaned his ears to listen
Hoping to hear it
But I did not hear anything
Only his heart is defeated by fear

Image

He got up and headed for the door
And stop again
He did not hear any sound again
But he saw a stupid light

He came down somewhere
And he knew he had to be here
He went down the stairs to find her
And grab another beer

He slowly lowered the stairs
He turned the corner into the hallway
He started two steps in the kitchen
Two steps that were all

He paused and silenced himself
His body was frozen in shock
His mind is trying to figure it out
Over time, time has elapsed

Image

He watched the look of pleasure
Passion in her eye
While she took everything she had
And she gave it to another guy

His body began to tremble
His emotions were hot
He intended to kill them
Right here on the spot

He went into the kitchen
I tried to catch the knife
He did not want to listen
Only he will take his life

They heard him opening the drawers
And the panic filled the air
They were caught red-handed
But he could just stand there

Image

He screamed them and threatened them
And he broke everything in sight
That was for him
Tonight will deal with this

Tried to succeed and catch him
But something kept her in place
She knew something was wrong
It hurts on the face

Falls on the floor
Too sorrow
He knew it was too much
They will not find relief

His pain is too much for him
And he started pale
Anger in your blood
Running along its blade

Image

All screams were silent
And he was no longer afraid
This day I would never have dreamed of him
Because he would not be here

He prayed that the darkness would come
And take it away
You should not have felt it
Even for a lonely day

His body was shaking and he knew it
That his time was close
When she came to catch him
And he whispered into his ear

I'm sorry, love, you know I am
Do not leave me
I'm sorry, do not die
Somehow I'll do it

Image

She told a man to call for help
He tried to save his life
His last words were to her
I wanted you to be my wife
