Poem : An ode to myself!

Tought times were there, and you got through it all
Then you had a clear vision of how you would solve by fall
You packed your suitcases and booked the cheapest ticket you could find
In a few days you left the country and were on the life-changing flight

Months and months of hard work as volunteers in the mountains of Spain
The first months it was bloody hot, you didn't even see on drip of rain
Then finally after months not being able to breath during the day
The biggest and impressive thunderstoms blew the sun away

Not for long though because the season did not end quite yet
Well even better your next address was in a luxury villa and some cute kitty cats
Both of you had a blast in that place and you found yourself a job over there
Hear hear, finally you can get yourselves an apartment oh yeah yeah

Do you know what this means? You will get back on your own feet
See, you know now you can overcome anything, even living on the streets
You found your own little apartment good enough for all of you three
Finally you could come to rest and enjoy the little baby

And then you had that terrible fall down the stairs that hurted so much
Months of agonizing pain followed and doctors visits, also lots
But luckily the Spanish government was good for us after me being losing the job
70% income and free health insurance so nothing to sob

The bills were paid every single month in a row
But you knew in a little while we would be having an income more low
Because you would be receiving sick law for 6 months by summer time
Boyfriend searched for a job and he did fine

In a few weeks you were in another plane
Starting a new adventure, yeah you must be insane!
Well you like the adventure, and what did you actually have to lose?
Nothing at all, so no reason to play the blues

The job offer was just in time and it seemed meant to be
So now you must learn the language of Hungary
You have some challenges to face the next months this year
But you can overcome anything, so have no fear!
