TELL ME- an original poetry to women

in poetry •  6 years ago

Tell me,
How the mouth could rival the Tommy,
Or the hand jealous the arm,
Tell me,
Could the light be envious of heat,
Or the leaves of the root.

Tell me,
If her breast you knew not,
Or her tears you brought none.
Tell me,
If her love flowed not like a stupendous sea,
Or her joy not roar like a lion.

Tell me,
If her love knows your life shadows,
Or care about it's scars,
Tell me,
If your root is not feminine,
Or if a perfect whole you would be if she doesnt give you birth.

Tell me,
If not a woman(in a book many of us read) bear a child without a man,
Or show me where its recorded where a man did same,
Tell me,
If a woman is not awesome and all these are right,
Then I'll show you a blue moon.
