I get up every morning and wonder where we will be in a decade.
I don't remember life being so closed.
I don't remember my parents watching the news so much.
I don't remember being so politically concerned, especially the young kids.
I remember I time where life was much simpler, where I didn't have to soak in this noise in order to make sense of where we exist.
I guess then, memories may be the only things I have left.
